I sometimes get dismayed when I see the efforts of Loyalty Marketers and Relationship experts translated into "Double Points this week", "Donate your points to charity" etc. They speak to our baser emotions and theirs too. We know what motivates you "Cheap" we know what motivates us "Bribery". Do I exagerate? Only a little.
With that in mind I was very happy to read that the UK Retailer John Lewis has just awarded its $60m Waitrose Supermarket account to Adam & Eve/DDB (London). The agency has produced some of the best loved and certainly my best loved Christmas themed advertising. Which you can enjoy below (2011-2014 versions)
