What a lovely description, and in reality what a lovely offering.
Of course, I'm talking about TED Talks. You might have seen one or two, or maybe you are a regular follower.
One of the lessons from TED Talks, is highly relevant to marketing and communications, well in fact all of life. Its not just how well you know your subject, but how good you are at "spreading it". The power of communicating well.
Two that stand out in my mind for the power of delivery are the now classic talk Sir Ken Robinson on education and more recently Daniel Kish's talk on "How I use sonar to navigate the world".
Apple are also brilliant at communicating well. The "making of" the Apple watches are a great example. This is something I don't wan't, can't understand its limited use vs an iPhone (which it needs to be paired to anyway) or its limited battery life ... yet show me how wonderful the aluminium case is and I get tempted to buy one just for the way its made. Fortunately I haven't.
Next blog, something closer to the world of marketing and creativity.
